The Find Buzzy ARG

Operator: Cicada Productions LLC, in collaboration with ARGHouse (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)

1. Overview

The Find Buzzy ARG (the “ARG”) is an online interactive puzzle, mystery, and story experience made available through the official website and related official channels (the “Site”).

Participants may solve puzzles, discover clues, unlock content, and progress through a connected narrative for entertainment purposes only.

By creating an account, accessing the Site, or participating in the ARG, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules & Terms (the “Rules”), our Privacy Policy, and any additional instructions, notices, or policies posted on the Site.

If you do not agree to these Rules, do not participate.

2. Entertainment Only / No Prize Value

The ARG is offered solely for entertainment and community participation.

There are:

  • no prizes

  • no giveaways

  • no sweepstakes

  • no contests

  • no random drawings

  • no guaranteed rewards

  • no cash value associated with gameplay progress

Completion of puzzles, progression through the ARG, rankings, achievements, or any in-game status does not entitle any participant to money, merchandise, compensation, or anything of monetary value unless separately and explicitly announced by the Company in writing.

3. Eligibility

Unless otherwise stated, the ARG is intended for individuals who are at least 13 years old.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should participate only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

The ARG is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

The Company reserves the right to deny or restrict access in any jurisdiction where operation of the ARG would violate applicable law or create unreasonable legal risk.

4. Registration and Accounts

To access certain features, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate and current information

  • maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • accept responsibility for all activity under your account

  • promptly update inaccurate information

  • use only one personal account unless expressly permitted

You may not sell, transfer, share, or sublicense your account.

The Company reserves the right to suspend, merge, restrict, or terminate accounts that are duplicate, fraudulent, abusive, inactive, or in violation of these Rules.

5. Gameplay and Progress

The ARG may include puzzles, hidden clues, webpages, codes, media, story events, interactive mechanics, digital collectibles, or other evolving gameplay elements.

Progress may be tracked through internal systems, timestamps, solved stages, account activity, collected items, or other gameplay markers determined by the Company.

The Company reserves the right to:

  • add, remove, delay, or modify puzzles

  • rebalance progression systems

  • patch unintended solutions

  • reset portions of gameplay

  • correct errors or omissions

  • change story content or mechanics

  • discontinue specific features

  • limit access to preserve system stability or fairness

All gameplay determinations, progression records, unlock status, and system decisions made by the Company are final except where prohibited by law.

6. Community Conduct / Prohibited Behavior

By participating, you agree not to:

  • use bots, scripts, scraping tools, macros, automation, or artificial methods

  • hack, exploit, reverse engineer, probe, or interfere with the Site or ARG systems

  • bypass intended puzzle mechanics through unauthorized technical means

  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

  • harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse other participants or staff

  • upload malicious code, spam, or disruptive content

  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, admin tools, or databases

  • leak restricted materials in a manner intended to ruin the intended experience

  • violate applicable laws, regulations, or posted Site policies

The Company may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, restrict, or permanently remove access with or without warning.

7. Collaboration / Spoilers / Community Sharing

Unless specifically prohibited within a puzzle, players may discuss theories and collaborate.

However, the Company may restrict collaboration, public walkthroughs, spoiler posts, solution sharing, or distribution of hidden materials for certain stages in order to preserve the intended player experience.

You agree to comply with any puzzle-specific spoiler or sharing rules when posted.

8. Intellectual Property

All ARG content, including but not limited to puzzles, text, graphics, logos, branding, videos, music, artwork, downloadable files, source code, designs, and story materials, is owned by or licensed to Cicada Productions LLC, in collaboration with ARGHouse and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Participation does not grant ownership of any content or any right to reproduce, distribute, sell, republish, publicly display, or commercially exploit ARG materials except where expressly permitted in writing.

9. Privacy and Communications

We may collect and use information necessary for:

  • account creation

  • authentication

  • gameplay tracking

  • security and fraud prevention

  • customer support

  • operation and improvement of the ARG

By creating an account or participating, you agree to receive essential service-related communications such as:

  • password reset emails

  • security alerts

  • account notices

  • gameplay updates

  • technical notices

  • support responses

Future Games and Promotional Communications

By registering an account, you also consent to receive occasional communications from Cicada Productions LLC, in collaboration with ARGHouse regarding:

  • future ARG experiences

  • new puzzle games

  • film releases

  • live events

  • community announcements

  • related interactive projects

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those communications. Essential account or service-related messages may still be sent when reasonably necessary.

10. Technical Issues / Availability

The ARG and Site are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, continuous uptime, error-free operation, or compatibility with all devices, browsers, or networks.

We are not responsible for issues caused by:

  • outages

  • hosting failures

  • browser incompatibility

  • device limitations

  • plugin conflicts

  • internet interruptions

  • corrupted data

  • delayed emails

  • third-party service failures

  • bugs or unintended errors

  • unauthorized attacks or interference

The Company may pause, reset, modify, or temporarily disable any portion of the ARG when reasonably necessary.

11. Company Rights / Modifications

The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:

  • interpret these Rules

  • modify gameplay systems

  • revise content or story elements

  • suspend portions of the ARG

  • investigate suspicious activity

  • enforce penalties for misconduct

  • discontinue the ARG entirely

  • update these Rules at any time

Updated Rules become effective when posted unless otherwise stated.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cicada Productions LLC, in collaboration with ARGHouse and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to:

  • participation in the ARG

  • inability to access the Site

  • loss of progress

  • loss of data

  • account issues

  • service interruptions

  • technical failures

  • unauthorized access

  • user-generated conduct

  • reliance on Site content

Participation is at your own risk.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

13. Release

By participating, you release and hold harmless Cicada Productions LLC, in collaboration with ARGHouse and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, contractors, and representatives from claims arising out of:

  • your participation in the ARG

  • your use of the Site

  • your violation of these Rules

  • interactions with other participants

This section does not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.

14. Governing Law

These Rules and any dispute relating to the ARG or Site shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute not otherwise resolved shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Michigan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Rules is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Rules, together with the Privacy Policy and any official notices posted on the Site, constitute the complete agreement regarding participation in the ARG.
